Did Somebody Say It Was Raining? A preview of Tracey & Russell's Wedding. Tracey & Russell - Mrs & Mrs Evans When I looked out of the window on Saturday I didn't see the cloudless blue sky I was hoping for. In fact it was raining. I thought of my bride and groom and I hoped that they weren't worried. I needn't have been concerned as when I arrived at Pine Ridge Golf Club everything seemed to be running smoothly and the wedding party were keeping warm and dry - in the bar of course! Tracey arrived with her father and from the broad smiles on both their faces I could tell that the weather was going to have no effect on the day at all. Tracey looked absolutely stunning, her dress was beautiful with pretty lace detail and sparkles. Oh, and Russell looked rather handsome too! The sun would have been nice but who needs it when you have such a lovely couple surrounded by their family and friends, cosy and warm sharing this special day. Congratulatio

Personal Work I have had a really busy week this week planning a 1920s inspired wedding shoot. Not going to give away too many details just yet, just to say that I am getting very excited! I have the pleasure of working with some fantastic local suppliers, a gorgeous model and are blessed with with being able to use a great location. Claire & Rob's Wedding at Northbrook Park It was the most superb day on Friday for Claire and Rob's wedding so I thought that I would let you have a sneak preview of a few of the images from the day. Northbrook Park , just outside Farnham is a wonderful venue for a wedding and Jason and I were so pleased to be able to share in this special day. Claire ready and looking just lovely! The very dashing Mr Smith. It was a very romantic ceremony with two readings and a few tears and a round of applause and they were announced as husband and wife. The September weather decided to show us that Autumn was upon us but nothing dampened the spirits of the guests who continued congratulating and celebrating in the Vine Room whilst the rain fell outside. We had a brief spell of clear weather and headed out into the gardens for some photographs of family and friends before the Wedding Breakfast. Part two of this amazing day. The stunning collection And for the finale - the charity auction. We were all hoping that we could raise a bundle for Breast Cancer Care and the brides and guests didn't let us down. There were some superb items in the auction from beauty treatments, bespoke ceramics, individually designed head pieces, a photography session to a chauffeur driven ride in a vintage London taxi to name just a few. Roy did a great job of getting hands raised and the bids came in. Then came the final auction item - a gown from the new Madeline Isaac-James collection. Well I have to say that this was a very popular item! Hands shot up all around the room and the winning bid was placed by a lovely lady. As it turned out her Mum, who was with her, had suffered from breast cancer but now thankfully was completely clear. What a deserving winner and I think it made everyone tingle and bought it home to us all just what a great charity this is, fighting for s

Wow! What can I say about the No.10 Catwalk Show at Northbrook Park - just that it was the most fabulous event and I was honoured to be part of it. I went along for most of the day photographing the whole event from the Vine Room being transformed by gorgeous chair covers and bright pink bows from Ambience Venue Styling and the softening drapes and pink lighting from the lovely Liz at Stress Free Hire - really made the rooms look special. More suppliers arrived to set up and continue making the Orangery look super. It was so nice that so many people wanted to give their time and expertise to help with this fantastic charity. This is the latest instalment for little Alice now 9 months. She is such a happy little girl, smiled continuously - gorgeous! We were hoping to be out in the garden for some environmental portraits but our Summer weather had other ideas so ever adaptable we went inside for the portraits instead. Alice's sister Eleanor was on school holidays so we took the opportunity to take some photographs of her too. At 3 she is very busy and spent much of the time chatting away, making calls on her pink mobile, wiggling like a worm and generally jumping around! So very fast reaction times and a bit of patience required, but she only had to smile at you and it all seems worth the effort. We got all 3 girls - Alice, Eleanor and her Mum together too for a few girl shots. All good fun. Baby Alice and her beautiful smile. Mum and Daughter Like butter wouldn't melt!
